About
A Mini Biography
I was born in Berkeley, California, in 1985. I spent the majority of my youth in the rural agricultural lands of central California. In 2002, my parents moved our family to Crescent City, CA.
In Crescent City, I worked as a Sea Lion handler and Aquarium manager, and later as a youth correctional officer and then as a probation officer. It was in Crescent City that I met my wonderful husband, and we got married in 2008. I gave birth to our first child, a son, in 2010.
After the birth of my first child, I decided to be a stay-at-home mom. By 2012, I was a mother to four. My love for photography grew quickly as I documented the growth of my children through photography.
In 2013, I decided to start a side business of photography, empowering women with boudoir photography. Demand for other services grew over the next few years, and I expanded my services to everything from wedding and sports photography to fine art and real estate.
By 2017, I had become a locally well-known photographer. Here are some of my accomplishments:
2017 - 3rd Place @ Redwood Art Association's Juried Art Show for my piece "The Road Less Traveled"
2017 - Published Photos in the Wild Rivers Foundation- Del Norte

In 2021, my family and I moved to the Marysville area. My two youngest children still live at home, and after the move, I decided to take a year off to help acclimate us to the new area and get settled in. I reopened my photography business in 2023 after being re-inspired during a three-week cross-country road trip.
